Laughlin, NV

Sherry and Sting Ray won 2nd in the 1st fo round of the barrel race at the Laughlin PRCA

Rodeo Huston

MP Meter My Hay, aka Sting Ray, won a round and set a new areana record-- a blistering 15.00

Ardmore

Sting Ray and Sherry, won 2nd in the Speedhorse Silver Cup Derby March 9th in Ardmore, OK. Sting Ray, is by Dinero.

MP Wooden Cowgirl, by Lone Drifter and owned and ridden by Tammy Key won 9th in the Futurity in Ardmore March 8th.

At that same event, Sherry and MP A Man with Roses aka "George" won a go round in the Friday Night Open Jackpot. George is a Dinero colt.

At the 2007 Beth Cooper Futurity, Sting Ray and Sherry won the 2nd go with the fastest time of the futurity and took 2nd place all around.

She also recorded a 16.73 on standard pattern Thanksgiving Weekend at Empty Acres' "Bash of Barrels" in Buckeye, AZ

Sting Ray also won 2nd in the Greg Olson Memorial Derby with a 16.9 January 18th in Phoenix.

At that same event, Sherry and MP A Man with Roses aka "George" won the Futurity.

Career off to a good start

MP Rojo Wood, a 2004 Bay Roan out of Lone Drifter and Roan Gold Rainbow as a yearling started showing this year in South Dakota. At his first 3 year Open Ranch Horse Futurity in August he placed 4th. Took him to the Fort Dodge Ranch Horse Futurity at the Central States Fair in Rapid City and placed 2nd. The Black Hills Stock Show was held in January in Rapid City and Rojo showed in the Ranch Horse Futurity and took 1st place. He won a saddle and money as the winner there. Rojo only has had about 6 months of riding and competed against 37 horses that are some of the best in the 5 state area for the win.

Pendleton Round-Up Rodeo

Todd Suhn wins the Steer Wrestling riding MP Right Back Atya.  Also at Pdnleton, Colter Todd set an arena record with Cesar De La Cruz, in the Team Roping.  They were 4.8, and Colter was riding MP Lonewood Ike, aka "Frisco".  Colter and Frisco were also victorious at the Caldwell Tour Rodeo in the Team Roping.

Salinas PRCA

Todd Suhn won the Steer Wrestling at the Salinas, CA PRCA Rodeo riding MP Right Back Atya.  He was ridden by several other cowboys to the pay window at Salinas as well as many other PRCA rodeos this summer.  Keep up the good work Todd.

Pleasant Grove PRCA

Todd Suhn wins a round and was first in the average at Pleasant Grove, UT PRCA rodeo in Steer Wrestling riding MP Right Back Atya.  MP Right Back Atya, or "Maxximus" is a Potter Ranch born and bred son of PC Frenchmans Hayday and out of Winken Back Atya a Lay A Patch daughter.  Congratulations Todd, and keep it up!

Mel, Driftwoods and the February Pruduction Sale were the topics covered in an article by Frank Holmes with photos by Darrell Dodds, that appears in the May issue of Western Horseman Magazine.

Boots Full of Bucks

That's what Sting Ray (MP Meter My Hay--by Dinero and out of Miss Meter Jet, sister to Hawk) brought home when he won the competition at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, OK. Sting Ray is a futurity colt this year.

Tucson PRCA 

Cory Petska and Tee Woolman won 4th in the short go round and 4th in the average. Cory was riding "Fancy" MP Speedrock by Red Rim Rock and out of Speedy Sunzalez

Houston PRCA 

Cory Petska and Tee Woolman won 2nd the 1st go round; 2nd the 2nd go round and made it to the short go.  Cory was riding "Lori" MP Patches of Hay by "Dinero" PC Frenchmans Hayday and out of Rose Patch

San Angelo PRCA

Cory Petska and Tee Woolman won the team roping.  Cory was riding "Fancy"

San Antonio PRCA Rodeo 

Cory and Tee won 4th the 2nd go--Cory was riding "Fancy"

Austin PRCA Rodeo 

Sherry Cervi won 2nd the 1st go, made it to the short go in 2nd place but knocked a barrel over in the short go and ended up 9th in the average.  She was riding Tin Man

Laughlin PRCA rodeo 

Cory and Tee won 8th in the team roping.  Cory was riding "Lori"

Albuquerque USTRCA Team Roping 

Cory and Tee won the open roping.  Cory was riding "Craisen" MP Cranwood by Lone Drifter and out of Cranberry Jane--Tee was riding "Tyrel" MP Woody Mango by Lone Drifter and out of Cranberry Jane.  Tee also won 3rd in the open roping

 Ft Worth

Sherry won first place in the Short-round of Ft. Worth, TX riding "Dinero", or PC Frenchmans Hayday, She also ran the fastest run the whole rodeo, all rounds prior included, in the Short Round to win it.

Odessa Rodeo

Sherry rode Dinero the short go (tour round) at Odessa, TX January 13 & 14 and won 2nd which enabled her to place 4th in the average.  Tin Man was her mount for the first 2 runs, but because of the way she drew up and the bad weather she sent Tin Man on up to Denver and therefore rode Dinero at Odessa the short go. Also during the Odessa rodeo they have a match team roping--8 steers. It has been between David Key & Kory Koontz vs Tee Woolman & Cory Petska.  Tee and Cory won it this year for the 3rd straight year.  Cory was riding "Lori" and last year he rode "Winston".

Other Highlights

Ryan Powell one of the Potter Ranch hands, won the #13 at the Bullhead City USTRC Team Roping riding MP Hawks Hayday, better known as "Canoli"

Cory Petska won 6th in the Team Roping at the Vernal, UT PRCA rodeo riding MP Spice In The Hay, daughter of PC Frenchmans Hayday.

 ALSO... Cory Petska won 1st in the Team Roping at the Salinas,CA PRCA rodeo riding Potter Ranch's stud, PC Frenchmans Hayday.

PC Lonewood Ike, Frisco, (Lone Drifter X Sun Frost) is a 1999 buckskin gelding owned by Colter Todd

Winners at Cheyenne, Pendleton and USTRC Open

In 2006 Frisco and Colter Todd were Cheyenne Frontier Days Champions and qualified for the NFR. Colter won  the heading at the USTRC Final in Ok City Open  $55,000 on this 8 year old.

2005--7 yr old won heading USTRC Finals in Ok City #15 Shoot Out. Also won the Pendleton Roundup (PRCA) heading with Tee Woolman adding another $5000 to his 2005 PRCA winnings for a total of $38,250.

2004  6yr old won heading at USTRC Finals in Ok City  $2,500

2002 4 yr old won heeling at USTRC Finals in Ok City  #11 Shoot out  $36,800

2006 USTRC roping in Winnemucca he was the OPEN roping champion. Also won the Globe USTRC open roping with Corey earning $3500.
