April, 2009 "Rizzo" taking off

Erin Parsons wins 8th in the second round of barrel racing at Logandale, UT PRCA riding Strawberrys Hayday, aka "Rizzo", a daughter of Frenchmans Hayday. Erin and Rizzo alo took 2nd at Oakdale, CA PRCA rodeo.

March, 2009 - Laughlin PRCA

Sherry Cervi and Stingray won 2nd at Laughlin PRCA rodeo Barrel race.

April, 2009 - Jackson

Sherry Cervi and Stingray win Jackson, MS WPRA barrel race.

San Angelo

Sherry Cervi and Stingray win 4th at San Angelo, TX WPRA barrel race.

 

Feb. 2009 - Conroe

Tammy Key-Fischer and  MP Quick Money win 3rd at Conroe, TX Booger Barter World Barrel Race.

Dec. 2008 - NFR

If you were at the NFR and had blinked, you would have missed this one -- Cory Petska and Travis Tryan tied the World and Arena Records at the 2008 NFR clocking a blistering 3.5 second run. Cory was riding Lady N Redwood, and Potter Ranch bred and raised mare.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Laughlin

Cory Petska and Colter Todd win Laughlin USTRC  Open Roping.  Cory Petska was riding Lady N Redwood, "Beth" to the win.

Gilbert

Sherry Cervi and MP Meter My Hay, "Stingray", win Gilbert Days IPRA Barrel Race.

Great Lakes Circuit

Potter Ranch is proud to have competed at the 2008 Great Lakes Circuit Finals.  Jeff Crouch and Chad Day, employees of Potter Ranch, won the average in the team roping riding Potter Ranch bred, raised and trained horses MP Ready To Drift and MP Thriftwood.  They qualified to compete in the Dodge Circuit Finals in Pocatello, ID in 2009.

Also at the finals, Mel Potter and Roy Alexander won 2nd in a go round.

Potter Ranch Horses Shine in Waco, TX. WBR Finals - November 2008

Out of 1,900 entries at the WBR Finals in Waco, TX , Potter Ranch horses were prominent among the leaders.

PC Frenchmans Hayday (Dinero) ridden by Sherry Cervi took 2nd in the 1D. Also in 1D, Sherry rode MP Meter My Hay to 7th, and finished 19th on MP A Man With Roses (George).

Tammy Key-Fischer had good rides in the 2D, finishing 3rd on MP Quick Money (Money) and 14th on MP Wooden Cowgirl (Creamy)

D&G Warm-Up Barrel Race

With over 140 horses entered in the Warm Up Barrel Race put on by D&G on November 6, 2008, Potter Ranch bred and raised horses definitely let it be known they were there.  In the 1D Sherry Cervi placed 2nd on PC Frenchmans Hayday ("Dinero"), 3rd on MP Meter My Hay ("Stingray", a daughter of Dinero), Tammy Key-Fischer won 4th on MP Quick Money ("Money", a son of Dinero), Tammy Key-Fischer 5th on MP Wooden Cowgirl ("Creamy", a Lone Drifter daughter), and Sherry Cervi won 6th on MP A Man With Roses ("George", a son of Dinero).  In the 2D- Sherry Cervi split 3rd and 4th on MP Nelle Wood ("Nellie", a Lone Drifter daughter), and Sherry won 8th on MP Hay Look Mike ("Frosty", a Dinero son.).
